I have attended both the Basic and Intermediate Microsoft Excel. Like I explained to Lynne on the Basic, I use Excel quite a lot for data collation and I thought I knew the Basic’s but it become apparent that I actually knew next to nothing. Both the basic and intermediate has helped me a great deal and certainly had a big impact on my workload in terms of how quickly I can now finish . . . to the extent I can now have a lunch hour. Joking apart these training sessions certainly had a massive impact on my work and can only be good for the business to keep these going.

On another note can I also give praise to Lynne. What’s good that she “tailors” the course to the individual needs in the class over and above the guidelines. She was also happy to sit at my desk after the Basic course and go through other stuff with me. You certainly wouldn’t get that elsewhere. KEEP THE COURSES GOING !!!!!

“I recently attended the ‘intermediate’ PowerPoint training session. As a Manufacturing Manager I regularly have to present information and have used PowerPoint to do this for a number of years. However, I have never received any formal instruction, so was essentially self taught. The training I received was focussed and covered the essential elements of PowerPoint in a simple, short training session. Without doubt, due to this, I will be able to produce significantly better presentations in a more efficient manner. Also, due to my improved knowledge and confidence in using the program, it will empower me to explore other areas of PowerPoint under my own steam.

You may remember me from the Women in Enterprise training sessions.  I participated in at least a couple of your workshops.  Just to let you know that 2 years on, I am preparing a presentation for a job interview and thanks to your training and invaluable booklets have managed to prepare my template and do all the other whizzy stuff – import pictures etc, without a problem!!  If it hadn’t been for your input I would be really panicking now!!
